Blessing for a Book of Shadows

Hearken to the olden days
Of the witch’s cunning ways
Read the book in light and love
In sun and moon and stars above

Oh gusts of Wind do turn these pages
Within the Fiery hearts of sages
Let the rolling Seas cleanse your soul
While the Earth grounds and molds

The Lord and Lady shall teach you all
While walking through these hallowed halls
Of years gone by and days of yore
We hearken to the witch’s lore

Fill these pages with Thy power
In this righteous, steadfast hour
With the aid of the Lord and Lady
As I will, So Mote It Be!
