What is Tai Chi?

The strengthening of the muscles can also help with conditions like arthritis, particularly in the knees and cartilage damage. A large number of benefits are also felt by the spine so it could be particularly beneficial for people suffering from back pain and other similar problems.

3. Emotional - a number of studies have shown that regular practise of Tai Chi can reduce cortisol levels in the body which can help to even out moods. This can be particularly beneficial for people who are suffering from conditions like depression, stress and anxiety. Tai Chi also has a spiritual element that allows people to connect their mind and body and so resolve inner conflicts. This peace can also help people to deal with everyday life and face problems in a much calmer balanced way then before.
